A bird flew into the window at Grandma & Grandpa's house and died on the
patio. At first JD kept his distance. Then, bit by bit, he became more curios and crept closer. Soon, he was carrying the bird around and trying to use his powers to make its life come back.
Later that evening Grandma asked what he and Grandpa did that afternoon.
"We planted cantaloupe, watermelon, and a bird. But the bird won't grow."
