Josiah walked into Grandma's living room and noted the tree, presents, and stockings on the fireplace. He asked why only Dave, Sandy, Kirsten, and David had name on them. Grandma went through the unnamed stockings as Bart next to Kirsten, Tamara next to David, followed by the kids and Aunt Sue.
Then JD asked why GG did not have a stocking handing.
Before Grandma could answer, he went on to explain that just because she has died it doesn't mean she is not with us and so her stocking should be hung. This way she knows we are all thinking of her and missing her. He got an extra stocking from the extra stack and hung it up.
"I bet Santa leaves her flowers."
Josiah had been working on earning points for a sleepover. This just did it.
